you need a download manager, which will allow you to pause/stop/resume downloads - so if you need to, you can simply restart the download again and it'll resume from where it left off before your connection disconnected.

download accelerator is an example, and can be downloaded free:

There is a freeware program called Free Download Manager on www.download.com (search for it). I think that saves it in history and searches for mirrors where the download could be faster.
um well cant u get a new computer

or try a diferent internet service
Yup u need a download manager - some of the best n free ones are

Getright and DAP
There are some free downloaders that are checked out and rated at DOWNLOADS.COM that will restart downloads automatically. The programs are safe. Just pay attention to what you are reading on the screen. Try to pick one that they have rated.
There are several downloader programs that well save partially and you can restart the download from where you left off.

Check download.com and I think it was called Download Manager.

Search for it and you may end up finding what you want and plus, Download Mangaer is a small file, most of them should be, sos you shouldn't have a hard time getting it.
