Download aim 6.5 on windows vista?

i just got a new computer and it came with windows vista and i tried to download aim 6.5 on it but it won't work. i went to aim.com and tried to download aim 6.5 but when i clicked the button 'download', the page went blank. also, my pop up blocker is not on so that cannot be the reason why i cant download aim. this is annoying and i really neeed to talk to someone online. someone help me PLEASE

Get a older version, it works better than the newer versions anyway.
