When im downloading using firefox, the downloads dont appear in the download window. what's wro

here are my problems:

1. for example, i download an attachment from an email sent to me. the file will appear in the desktop, and sometimes even, downloads are not finished. so of course, the supposedly downloaded files wont open in that case. when i check the download progress in the download window (tools%26gt;downloads) it's empty.

2. when i also save photos from the internet (by right-clicking it and then clicking save as) it would not appear in the target location, in short, it was not downloaded at all. so what i do is copy it and then paste it in paint and then save it instead. that's too much of a hassle for me. haha and since my download window doesnt show me anything anymore, the photo im trying to download would not appear in it either.

what's wrong with my firefox? i tried reinstalling it, but the problem's still there.

You need to tick the "remember what I have downloaded" in preferences as well as "show downloads while downloading" in the General Tab in Preferences.

hi! i think you can try to use some plugins of firefox. for download, you can try "FlastGot", it can recognize the download manager in your computer. and you can download another one called "Super Drag And Go", just press the image you want to save and drag your mouse, and the images will be saved.
