When i download a game it goes into D drive instead of C drive?

i've been trying to download world of war craft onto my new computer and i tell it to download into the C drive but it doesn't, instead it goes and downloads it straight to the D drive and runs out of space so it wont even finish downloading, i have a 72G Cdrive and a 2g D drive i want to download in C drive but it doesn't it keeps going to D drive and saying i have no disk space left, how do i get it to download into the c drive or how do i make my C drive the primary Drive to download things into. I;ve even try'd just to download the trial onto the C drive but automaticqally it tells me i can't b/c of my D. Also how do i get into my D drive and clear everything that was downloaded. it used to have 2Gigs but now it has like 3kb b/c of all that and i can't find out anything on how to get it back to 2 G's. ever since i started downloading the game it has missed a bunch of disk space. and disk cleanup deosn't help at all. please help
